The Machine Shop is a creative collaborative workspace in downtown Colorado Springs that houses three design agencies (Fixer Creative Co., Design Rangers, and Copilot Creative), one architect (Echo Architecture), and a video production company (Studio C3). It is also the unofficial headquarters of AIGA CO in Colorado Springs.
“The Machine Shop” name comes from the family who actually ran an automotive shop in the space back in the 1950’s/1960’s. Though it wasn’t the official name back then, the family always referred to it as “The Machine Shop,” and was the perfect name for the workspace.
