The beginner’s workshop in modern calligraphy

In this beginner's workshop, you'll form a strong modern calligraphy foundation. Lindsey will start by teaching you how to create calligraphy with a standard pen, which will allow you to make beautiful lettering on the spot! We'll then move on to brush pens to familiarize you with how to use pressure variation for that professional look in your lettering. Finally, we'll spend the last half of class working with dip pens! All materials will be included in this workshop.

Workshop includes the following supplies:
Ballpoint Pen (for faux calligraphy/letter formation practice)
Brush Pen (for practicing pressure exertion)
Manuscript Straight Calligraphy Pen with Universal Insert
Hand-Turned Wooden Oblique Calligraphy Pen
Nikko G Nib
Brause EF66 Nib
2.25 oz. Sumi Ink
Workshop-Exclusive TPK Worksheet Set
6" x 8.25" Rhodia Pad

Ticket Price: $200
Number of spots available: 15
