AIGA Launches Design for Good to Support Socially Engaged Designers

Every day, designers are creating better communities by working with nonprofits and citizen groups to improve the human experience. If one person can make an impact, imagine what 22,000 designers can accomplish.

AIGA’s Design for Good initiative connects and amplifies the pro bono efforts of designers, firms and chapters.

By providing resources—advice, inspiration, training, case studies and opportunities—Design for Good will expand the reach of social-change projects while supporting design as a profession.

Design for Good is not just about donating your time and skills to a cause. By working with others in the community to solve complex social problems, you can demonstrate the value of design to local businesses, communities and elected officials. Design for Good is about using our collective creativity and empathy to improve the world we live in.
