There’s nothing like the pressure of competition to get the creative juices flowing. That’s why AIGA Colorado is proud to sponsor the Design Slam. This year, we’ll add a regional round of competitions, with the best from each region competing at the Design Slam Finals, hosted by the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.

The Design Slam is a creative problem solving competition for students of art and design. Contestants solve visual problems in front of a live audience, with their computer work projected onto the wall so spectators can follow the thinking process. The competition consists of four challenges and a final round to determine the champion at each regional slam. Regional winners will join the Design Slam finals hosted at RMCAD, and compete for the grand prize.

Besides bragging rights, the winner will win free admission to AIGA Colorado Speaker Events throughout the school year, a guaranteed spot in the 2015 ELEVATE Mentorship Program, and a full-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. Remember: No guts, no glory!
