The third annual ArtStir Denver was a smashing success! Thousands of people attended the event held over Memorial Day weekend to participate in family fun activities and shop the 140+ booths exhibited by fantastic artists and designers from Colorado. For the third year AIGA Colorado has supported ArtStir Denver with volunteers, providing a helping hand with coloring contests for children and a large wall displaying member’s illustrations.

New this year, AIGA Colorado, ArtStir Denver and VSA Colorado/Access Gallery have come together to provide AccesSHIP, a youth scholarship providing up to $1200 for three individuals between the ages of 16 and 24. The scholarship will allow the recipients to access Denver’s creative culture in a variety of fields and provide a mentor to guide them in getting the most from the scholarship. Applications are open through August 15th.
