Design Canada with Greg Durrell | AIGA CO-Speaker Series

AIGA CO is hosting a two night event with designer and filmmaker Greg Durrell who is touring Canada and the US in support of the documentary, Design Canada.

Join us on Thursday evening for the Speaker Series at the Denver Art Museum. Greg will speak about how graphic design can be a tool for social change, inspire generations and build nations. Doors open at 6pm for our opening reception and the lecture starting promptly at 7pm. Tickets for the speaking event are available on Eventbrite, or at the door.

Friday evening, the Denver Art Museum with AIGA CO will host a screening of the documentary Design Canada, which examines how the Modernist graphic design era in Canada during the 1960s, shaped the identity of a nation and its people. Tickets to view the Friday night film screening are available day-of at the Denver Art Museum by purchasing a General Admission museum pass. The screening will start at 6:30pm sharp.

When Greg is not interviewing Canadian design greats for his documentary, he is a partner at Hulse & Durrell, a Vancouver-based design firm that develops brands, products and films for ambitious organizations that want to make a lasting impact. Their client list includes the International Olympic Committee, the Canadian Olympic Team, NBC Sports, and Square, to name a few.
