Actual Source is the collaborative design practice of Davis Ngarupe (Cook Islands / USA) and JP Haynie (USA). Together, and with their community of collaborators, they design and execute publications, visual identities, websites, packaging, apparel, and physical spaces for clients in many diverse fields at large and small scale. Recent projects include a new publishing initiative for A24, commercial interiors for Podium, an identity and typeface for NikeLab c/o Virgil Abloh, and Shoplifters 9: DRAWINGS.

In addition to studio practice, Actual Source operates as an editor, publisher, brand, and retail store that collaborates with contemporary artists, designers, and writers to publish limited edition books, fonts, clothing, and objects. Recent collaborations include Adam Higton, Dinamo, Hassan Rahim, Braulio Amado, Stefan Marx, and Fraser Muggeridge.

Doors open at 6pm for the social hour. Cash bar and free snacks.

Speaker presentation begins at 7pm on Thursday. Parking lot entrance is on 12th. Street parking is available and most meters are free after 6pm.
