Following graduation from the University of Colorado, Michael traveled the U.S. and Europe for a year before beginning his career in Boulder. While trying to break into the animation business, Michael decided to try his hand at the more marketable business of design. Working days in a print shop and moonlighting at night allowed him to build a client base and launch Studio Signorella in 1978. Since then, Michael has worked with clients locally, nationally, and internationally. He has been a member of AIGA since 1987, was a founding member of AIGA Colorado, and served on the board or as an AIGA CO officer for the organization’s first seven years. And he’s still going. Michael is currently leading AIGA Colorado in Boulder.
