Where can we find you?

What are you reading, listening to or watching right now?

READING : DUNE, Over the Top and Writing Your Way Ahead in Advertising. I found that when I read multiple books at once, I actually end up reading them all faster. I can adjust based on what I am feeling that day vs unnecessarily pressuring myself to “finish” one book at a time. LISTENING: Anderson Paak, The Daily, Polo & Pan WATCHING: Just finished The Expanse, looking for a new series.  PLAYING: Animal Crossing : New Horizons. SEND ME YOUR CODES!

What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

I spent a pretty penny on going to Miami Ad School in SF. I do not believe that you need to go to an ad school to “make it”, but for me it was exactly what I needed. It was the next logical step after graduating from undergrad in Tampa, FL. I wanted to live in a big city and experience all the things.  By investing in my post-grad education I was able to gain valuable experience working on world-class brands, met amazing people I still consider my closest friends and yes I paid WAY too much for rent and coffee. All those experiences compounded made me the weirdo I am today. SIDEBAR: If you are looking at Ad Schools check out our very own Denver Ad School 😉

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?

Walk outside. The sun and fresh air have this super power where they are able to  snap you out of whatever funk you may be feeling at that moment.

What are you currently working on?

During my 9-5 at PopSockets, we are working on a scaled back version of the day-to-day and thinking of appropriate ways we can contribute to alleviating the COVID-19 chaos. Part of that is through our charitable platform Poptivism.  Outside of my 9-5, I am(was) working on launching an art event company, Fruits of Our Labor. We took a mental break but will be working on ways we can connect with artists, local and beyond, while we are all quarantined. Stay Tuned!
